Home to the famous Mermaid Parade this beach is a "must-see." The Original Nathan's hot dog stand is located just off the boardwalk. There are also freak shows and carnival rides nearby when you get tired of relaxing in the sand.

| Central Park
Located in Manhattan Island, Central Park is a beautiful place in both the winter time and the summer time. Here, you'll see family gathering, boat races in the park, ice skating in the winter. But don't think this place is safe, even with guards all about. You can still get mugged, stabbed or robbed. Fun, huh?

The Acacia Cemetery is a cemetery located on the outskirts of town. It one of the oldest cemeteries in New York. It was founded in the mid-nineteenth century, and among those buried there are many military veterans from the Civil War onward.

| Metropolitan Pool & Fitness Center
The Metropolitan Pool & Fitness Center is located in Brooklyn, just a subway-ride away. Here you can swim in private, or with the locals either in the winter time or in the summer time seeing as this neat little place has indoor pools.
